The Tuscan
Way adventure started about three years ago when one day my father called
me up and said: “I think many people would really appreciate staying in
our 5-story 20 room home, visiting our beautiful medieval villages, olive
groves and vineyards, and, most of all, I would like to teach cooking
courses, specializing in our local cuisine, using my lifetime of
experience in restaurants and hospitality.” Well, he was right. 
My father and I are very proud and in love
with our area of Tuscany, the food, the wine, the peasant culture, the
Etruscan art, our countryside, and our beautiful home, next to the
medieval castle of our village Arcidosso. So, I thought his idea was a
great one, and I started dedicating my time putting everything together
(photos of our home, of our countryside, of my father’s dishes,
itineraries etc.) in order to promote this unique cultural and culinary
experience offering it to people around the world and especially to
Americans.
Each of the following vacations has its own particular
charm and personality. Casa
Caponetti is a country house on a family run estate, Casa
Innocenti is a medieval home in a village and Villa Gaia
is a country estate that produces olive oil and has a nice outdoor
swimming pool and Villa Castelletti is a very upscale estate with its own
restaurant located outside of Florence.

Casa Innocenti and Villa Gaia are each located about 6 miles away from each
other in the hills of Central Tuscany, between the green slopes of Monte
Amiata and the coastal region of Maremma. Casa Caponetti is located further
South at the border of Tuscany Umbria and Latium. And Villa Castelletti is
located about 9 miles West of Florence. . Each is located less than 20 miles away from each other in the hills of Central Tuscany, between the green slopes of Monte Amiata and the coastal region of Maremma.
