Born in Turin, Giorgio started his career as a copywriter and creative
director to become a founding partner of one of Italy's top advertising
agencies. Following this success, he turned his back on city life. He
and his family chose to move to Tuscania to live a new life in the
country.where he turned his creative energy to new pursuits.
So he became a horse riding instructor and organiser/director of shows
and events, and free-lance video-director ( four awards in
International documentary festivals in the last ten years!) |
Over the years Giorgio has created new and strangely fascinating "spettacoli"
in very special natural sites which combine music, poetry and elements
of country life, including animals (such as horses, dogs, falcons).
Since 1999 he has been the general co-ordinator and artistic director of
"Terra come Arte - Earth and Arts Festival" at the University of Viterbo.
When he is at home, he teaches horse riding, and plans tours for the
guests.
Connoisseur of the history of the region, he is happy when he can
personally lead tours discovering the hidden magic of the Etruscan,
Roman, Medieval, and Renaissance worlds.
For Casa Caponetti guests, Giorgio plans trips to unknown Italian sites.
He will inspire you to feel the "soul and magic" of your surroundings.
And you can reach these unforgettable sites by driving, walking or
cycling.
Or - of course -on horseback, accompanied by experienced local horsemen
and, if you are lucky, by Giorgio himself.
