Caserta and Cassino
A 8-hour Sightseeing-tour
We will start our tour in Caserta, known as the "Versailles of Naples"
because of the Palazzo Reale, a royal palace built by the architect Luigi
Vanvitelli in 1752-74, for Charles of Bourbon, a remarkable architecture
(1200 rooms) with Neoclassical decorations, and a splendid park with
fountains and waterfalls. We’ll then drive to |
 |
Cassino to visit the famous abbey founded by
St. Benedict of Norcia in 529, destroyed in World War II and rebuilt in
all its beauty.
The tour is for a party of max 4 people, or a party of max 8 people, and
it includes private car transfers and driver guide. |
