Our Company Philosophy
Our aim is to provide a very personal, pleasurable and
memorable experience for all of our guests. This will leave you
feeling invigorated and refreshed after your vacation. We
accomplish this by working with small groups of travelers and
introducing them to the locals so that they can really see and
experience Tuscan culture as it really is.
Our
Staff
Isabel Innocenti – Co-owner & founder of Tuscan Way
Co-founder of Tuscan Way. She is the daughter of Carlo
Innocenti, the owner of the medieval home in Arcidosso where the
cooking courses are taught. Isabel is fluent in 5 languages and
divides her time between Miami, Florida and Tuscany.
Carlo Innocenti – Master Chef & Owner of Casa Innocenti
The owner and host of the historic medieval home in
Arcidosso. As a young man he was an artisan, he ran a factory of
wrought iron: the house in Arcidosso is full of his craft work.
He won a prestigious competition. A professional photographer
and cameraman for his video production company, Immagine e Suono
(documentaries of La Maremma sold to the national Italian
Television, La Rai and the Swiss Television). He has been in the
entertainment industry for 25 years. In the 70’s he was the
owner of the Jolly Club, one of the first discotheques in
Central Italy. In the 80’s he was the owner of Carlo’s Club a
popular discotheque of the area. He was the manager and head
chef for the exclusive Harry’s Bar in Punta Ala (famous beach
resort on the coast of Southern Tuscany), and taught courses of
Tuscan cuisine to an elite crowd in Switzerland.
Ian Darrah – Co-owner & President
Ian developed Tuscan Way’s Sales and Marketing programs and
launched the office in Miami, Florida. He also is involved in
business development and adding new Tuscan Way programs.
Linda Sorgiovanni – Villa Castelletti Program Leader
Linda is a licensed tour & wine guide and she leads the
prestigious Villa Castelletti program. She also handles Tuscan
Way’s custom tour requests which include wine tours through the
Chianti, Carmignano and Brunello wine regions as well as day
tours in Florence and Rome.
Romeo & Federica Innocenti
Romeo and Federica, pictured here with their son Giuglio, assist
Carlo at Casa Innocenti and also run the Villa Poggiarello
culinary program. Romeo is greatly appreciated for his sense of
humor, charm and wit. Federica’s warmth is felt by all and she
is also licensed in Ayurvedic massage – a great benefit for
Tuscan Way guests!
Pascale Lamirand – Carlo’s better half!
Pascale helps hold down the fort in southern Tuscany by Helping
Carlo in the kitchen as well as out on tours. She also serves as
a Translator as she speaks fluent Italian, English, French and
German. Her sense of caring and warm personality always make
guests feel right at home!
