This apartment commands not only spectacular views of the estate as well as a picture postcard image over the terracotta tiled roof of the farmhouse. ll Melograno

Situated on the first floor overlooking the garden, just breathe in the perfume of the lavender below as you watch the sunset. Living/dining room with fully equipped kitchen facilities.

As it’s name suggests a homey nest overlooking the chestnut woods, entrance on the first floor with living/dining

Originally the farm steward’s domain, this large apartment has extended views over the Pomino vineyards as well as
the surrounding countryside. It has it’s own independent entrance leading up to the first floor opening into an immense
living/dining room with well equipped kitchen facilities and two divan beds. Two spacious
double bedrooms with possibility of adding a third bed.
ABOUT YOUR CHEF:
Born and raised in Florence for the first 20 years of his life and after studying philosophy, Francesco decided to move to the countryside in search of a less frenetic rhythm, simplicity and healthier lifestyle.
These theories are the base of his philosophy about cooking. “We are what we eat and when we cook We put a little of ourselves into the preparation of food”.
Francesco and his daughter Caterina put their love for nature, be it the countryside, the sea or the mountains into their passion for cooking. Combining their curiosity and acceptance of the world that surrounds them together with the use of fresh seasonal and natural ingredients that Tuscany offers, mainly vegetarian meals are prepared with care, simplicity and a pinch of fantasy.
They aim to transmit the capacity to taste the flavours present in these ingredients, the importance of dedicating time not only to cooking but in the preparation of food and through this wonderful world that is the kitchen, learn to take good care of ourselves.
EXCURSIONS & ITINERARY:
We are very excited to be able to offer you this exciting and unique itinerary! Each day, you will be taken on a professionally guided tour with an English speaking guide of Florence and the surrounding villages and wineries. Some of the places of note you will visit are the Vallambrosa Monastery, the famous and renowned Frescobaldi Estate, producers of the award-winning Castello di Nipozzano Chianti wines. You will be taken on a walking tour of the cultural epicenter Florence, and explore the medieval village of Poppi and it’s 12th century castle. Enjoy a tour of the Chianti Classico region and the beautiful city of Siena, and an olive oil tasting and education on a working olive farm. Cooking classes will be hands-on at the farmhouse, and dinner will be what you prepared!
