Roccatederighi is a lovely hamlet in the Maremma countryside, in Southwestern Tuscany, situated on the top of a hill overlooking an open plain that leads to the sea. Yes – from here, you can peer out over the Mediterranean sea on clear days! The charming village is surrounded by luxurious Mediterranean bush and remains unspoilt by any industry or unruly development. All here preserves medieval character. Roccatederighi was built upon a rock. Walking down the narrow cobblestone streets and squares of the pedestrian historical center, you can still see parts of this rock formation cropping out. In the village, there are many shops and authentic “cucina povera” styled restaurants. There is also a local outdoor market on Saturdays. Roccatederighi is ideal for a healthy and relaxing holiday and for discovering the beautiful small hamlets close by, such as Tatti, Sassofortino and Montemassi. Follonica, which has a well equipped sandy beach, is only a 30 minute drive away. The great art cities like Siena, Florence and San Gimignano are all within a 1 to 2 hour drive from the village.


Casa Rocca is a delightful stone house, built on a rock buttress, part of which becomes a natural panoramic terrace overlooking the Maremma plains below. The house is situated in the very center of Roccatederighi, between two historical towers that are the symbol of the village. The streets of the center are so narrow that you cannot reach the house by car. There is car parking about 100 meters from the house. Completely restored and retaining its original features, the house consists of two apartments that can be rented together or separately for one or two families. Each apartment is equipped with satellite TV and self-contained central heating. <> INCROCIATA (sleeps 2+1) - is on three levels. GROUND FLOOR: there is a spacious well-equipped kitchen with fireplace, furnished with an oven, fridge and stove. From the kitchen, going up a few steps, there is one bedroom and going down a few steps from the kitchen there is a bathroom with bathtub. An extra bed for a child can be added in the bedroom.

The price includes: the use of the apartments with domestic appliances, water, gas, electricity, linen changed weekly and final cleaning. To be paid on the premises: central heating 5 Euro(about $4)per day per apt. Security deposit: 155 Euro(about $150).
