Nestled in the rolling hills between Chianti and the Crete of Siena, in a magnificent setting, is “ La Selva. It was a Medici’s castle, taken over in the XV century by the Siena and French armies, and is now and ideal place to spend vacations in harmony with the natural surroundings. The scenery is typical of the pictures painted by the Renaissance artists. It has gentle hills and sweeping valleys, marked by noble cypress trees and adorned with vinyards, olive groves, and large forests of oaks, giving shade from the heat of the summer. Former farm houses built by the Grand Duc of Tuscany, Leopoldo II of Lorena, have been renovated with all the modern comforts and decorated with the simple and original style of the times. Each house has a private pool. Within a 15/30 minutes drive, you can visit the art cities of Siena (25 Kms), Monte San Savino and Sinalunga. In the direction of Chianti there is a constellation of little medieval villages and castles, full of history and each with their own personal story through the centuries. Within 30/45 minutes drive you can visit places like Cortona, Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pienza and Montalcino. Florence is only 45 minutes away.


Situated within the gates of the main property (Casa Feliciai) there are two apartments. They are both on the upper floors in separate buildings and with independent entrances. They both have very large terraces with spectacular views. They have the use of the pool on the grounds of Villa La Selva a few meters away. LIBRERIA: 70 square meters (630 sqft)- Upper floor: sleeps 2. The main room, finished in wood, is richly decorated, with one wall a library full of books, a pull-out bed, dining area, fireplace and living area. One bathroom with bathtub and a fully equipped separate kitchen and a large double room. Everything has been furnished to the last detail with a lot of artifacts and ornaments. The main room opens out to a large and very private terrace of 60 sqmts (540 sqft) which is fully furnished with outdoor furniture for dining and sunbathing. The view is spectacular.

The prices are per apartment per 7 nights and they include water, gas, electricity, final cleaning and laundry changed weekly. Use of the pool. To be paid on the premises: central heating upon use. Security deposit: 258 Euro (about $250).
