Set in a panoramic position overlooking the surrounding countryside with vineyards and olive groves, the house is divided into two independent apartments. The estate on which the house is located produces excellent Chianti Classico wines and extra virgin olive oil that can be purchased on the premises. The access road is a dirt track that is not suitable for low vehicles as it is fairly rough. Castellina in Chianti with all facilities is at 7 kms. Poggibonsi with access to the Superstrada connecting Siena and Firenze is at 14 kms, and there is a restaurant about 2 kms from the house.


The farmhouse is built into the side of a hill and the two apartments are totally independent as they are situated on different levels. Each apartment has its own private furnished garden space and independent central heating. Gas is payable on consumption during heating season together with firewood. The owners are friendly and speak English, but are not present all the time. They occupy a separate farmhouse on the estate. The apartments are comfortably furnished in good taste and with an eye to details. Each apartment is carefully furnished following its colour scheme – Verde is green and Blu is blue. Restoration has maintained the typical Tuscan architectural dictates intact with wood beamed ceilings, cotto floors and white washed walls. The apartments are ideal for living in contact with nature in total tranquillity while enjoying the estate products. Each apartment has a television. Swimming-pool available. The apartment VERDE is about 56 square meters (504 sqft). Private access to this apartment is from its garden space up an external flight of stone steps that culminate on an open landing. Private entrance is into the spacious living/dining room with open hearth fireplace and kitchen corner that is fully equipped with gas range, electric oven and fridge. A door in the kitchen opens into a hallway that leads to the double bedroom, to the twin bedded room and to the spacious complete bathroom with shower stall. This apartment offers beautiful panoramic views.

The prices are for this apartment for 1 week and include: water, gas, electricity and weekly change of linen and final cleaning. To be paid on the premises: central heating (10 Euro)daily. A baby crib is available free of charge. Security deposit is 155 Euro(about $150).
