IL POGGETTO (Sleeps 10+2) Situated in a panoramic position overlooking a green landscape of wooded hills and only 1.5 km away from the village of Monticiano is Podere Il Poggetto. This beautiful stone house, surrounded by a wide fenced garden, has been recently restored and furnished simply and comfortably for holiday use. Monticiano is the last village in this area of the Province of Siena before (heading South) entering into the Province of Grosseto. So, the people of this region have a bit of mix of both Provincial cultures (Province of Siena & Grosseto)which makes makes for a very interesting and rich combination.

The house has a big entrance area perfect for large groups or family reunions. Each apartment of the country home has its own private space outside with table and chairs for dining out and guests share the garden and the pool (6x 12 mts) both shaded by the surrounding trees. In Monticiano, the nearest village, there are shops, a bank, a post office and a local restaurant serving typical Tuscan cuisine. Satellite tv, barbecue, washing machine available.
