This delightful stone house is part of a tiny walled medieval hamlet called Castello di Tocchi near Monticiano about 30 kilometers South of Siena. One of the best Tuscan Restaurant in the area is just 1.5 km away from La Formichina.


In a spectacular panoramic view over the green hills the house La Formichina has been lovingly restored in traditional Tuscan style with beamed ceilings terracotta floors. On the ground floor a comfortably living/kitchen room with fireplace. Some stairs lead to the first floor, to the master bedroom, to the bedroom with a bunk bed and to the spacious bathroom with a shower. Both bedrooms have a small terrace from where the view can only be described as spectacular. In front of the entrance of the apartment, there is a beautiful terrace in panoramic position furnished with table and chairs for eating out. The property has central heating and is available for longer rents in winter.

The price includes the use of the apartment with domestic appliances, water, gas, electricity, linen changed weekly. To be paid on the premises: final cleaning 13 Euro per person. Central heating: 8 Euro per day.
