Nestled in the rolling hills between Chianti and the Crete of Siena, in a magnificent setting, is “ La Selva. It was a Medici’s castle, taken over in the XV century by the Siena and French armies, and is now and ideal place to spend vacations in harmony with the natural surroundings. The scenery is typical of the pictures painted by the Renaissance artists. It has sweet hills and sweeping valleys, marked by noble cypress trees and adorned with vineyards, olive groves, and large forests of oaks, giving shade from the heat of the summer. Former farm houses built by the Grand Duc of Tuscany, Leopoldo II of Lorena, have been renovated with all the modern comforts and decorated with the simple and original style of the times. Each house has a private pool. Within a 15/30 minutes drive, you can visit the art cities of Siena (25 Kms), Monte San Savino and Sinalunga. In the direction of Chianti there is a constellation of little medieval villages and castles, full of history and each with their own personal story through the centuries. Within 30/45 minutes drive you can visit places like Cortona, Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pienza and Montalcino. Florence is only 45 minutes away.


CASA FABBRI - 565 square meters (5085 square feet) - Sleeps 16. This is another large separate farmhouse with tower and includes a small house. It is located about 200 meters from Casa Feliciai. There is also included a house on the same grounds that sleeps 5 (La Capanna) with one bathroom with shower. It has a private pool 10 x 5 meters with garden furniture and large built-in barbecue, a large shaded parking area and the house and the pool are surrounded by old oak trees. It has a large covered terrace attached to the house (54 sqmts - 486 sqft) with a huge marble and iron table for outdoor dining. All furnishings are antiques. GROUND FLOOR: There is a main entrance which leads to the kitchen, or dining room, or the living room. A large fully equipped separate kitchen with a raised fireplace. A very large dining room with a single long dining table (seats 20), which opens up to the swimming pool by 2 large doors. A large living room with another fireplace. A separate TV room. Also on the main floor there are 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds and 1 bathroom with shower. From the hallway there is another door which opens to the pool. UPPER FLOOR: Access from the dining room. 4 bedrooms with queen-size beds, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 4 bathrooms with showers. THE TOWER: Access from the upper floor landing. 1 room with a queen-size bed, 1 bathroom with bathtub.

LA CAPANNA: 135 sqmts - 1215 sqft (sleeps 5). A seperate building 6 meters away from the main entrance of Casa Fabbri. On the lower floor there is a large room as a living room and 1 bathroom with shower. Above there are 2 rooms with 5 single beds dormitory style.

The prices are per 7 nights and they include water, gas, electricity, final cleaning and laundry changed weekly. Use of the pool. To be paid on the premises: central heating upon use. Security deposit: 258 Euro(about $250).
