La Selva is nestled in the rolling hills between the Chianti and the Crete regions of Sienna and the Province of Arezzo. It is a magnificent setting – once a Medici castle, later overtaken in the XV century by the Siena and French armies, it is now simply an ideal place to spend a vacation while living in harmony with the natural surroundings. The scenery is typical of the scenes painted by the Renaissance artists. The countryside has gentle hills and sweeping valleys, majestically enhanced by noble cypress trees, vineyards, olive groves, and large oak forests that provide welcome shade from the heat of the summer. The estate’s country houses were built by the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Leopoldo II of Lorena, and have since been renovated with the addition of modern comforts. However, all decorations and renovations have graciously preserved the simple and original historical style that is rustic Tuscan with a noble & elegant twist. Each house has a private pool. A mere 15 to 30 minute drive is all it takes to visit the famous art cities of Siena (25 kilometers away), Monte San Savino and Sinalunga. Heading towards the heart of the Chianti region, there is a cluster of picturesque medieval villages and castles, each loaded with history and its own unique centuries-old story. Driving 30 to 45 minutes, you can visit famous towns like Cortona, Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo,Volterra, San Gimignano, Pienza and Montalcino. Florence is only 45 minutes away.


Casa Felciai (500 m2/4500 sq.ft., sleeps up to 18 people): is a very large country house recently renovated which was once part of the primary noble farm. Gorgeous views of the surrounding country-side: vineyards, sunflower fields and horses grazing on the flower covered meadows. In all directions, there are oak forests completely untouched by any industry. It is easy to spot local wildlife such as deer, boar, wild goats, pheasants and hares. Situated about 200 meters (215 yards) from the main villa La Selva. Located on the small road that leads to the wonderful medieval hamlet of Montebenichi. Behind Casa Felciai there is a pool (10 x 5 meters) situated in the open countryside, complete with outdoor furnishings and a large barbecue. There is central heating and all the interiors are decorated in True Rustic Tuscan Style. GROUND FLOOR – A very spacious living room with fireplace, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen (oven, stovetop, fridge, freezer, dishwasher), a TV room, one double bedroom with twin beds, 3 double bedrooms with king-size beds and four bathrooms with showers. UPPER FLOOR – Four double bedrooms with king-size beds, one twin bedroom and 5 bathrooms complete with showers.

Torrino (110 m2/990 sq.ft., sleeps 4 people) is a separate house on the same grounds as Casa Felciai, with a private garden patio. It has 2 bedrooms with large king-size beds, 2 bathrooms: 1 with shower and 1 with bathtub, a separate fully functional kitchen, with eating area, a living room with a fireplace. The interior decorations are of a very high and refined quality in keeping with Authentic Rustic Tuscan style. It has a large private patio with a barbecue, garden furniture and a table for outdoor dining. Use of the swimming pool with Casa Felciai, which is also fully furnished with outdoor furniture.

The prices are per 7 nights and they include water, gas, electricity, final cleaning and laundry changed weekly. Use of the pool. To be paid on the premises: central heating upon use. Security deposit: 258 Euro(about $250).
