The Brolio Castle, home of the Ricasoli family since 1141, is one of the main landmarks of the Chianti country. The castle stands in a strategic position where the hills of Chianti unfold toward the plain of Siena. It is surrounded by a beautiful park including a picturesque Italian garden
It's massive walls date back to the Renaissance and look out over what is perhaps the most spectacular view of the Chianti region.
Brolio belongs to times gone by. It's evocative charm and detached peace awaken fantasy in both young and old. The Ricasoli family still resides in the castle over the summer months.
At the foot of the Castello stands I Colli, a nineteenth century farmhouse which has been converted into 3 apartments..
The house, right at the border of the Brolio vineyards, has maintained its rustic character, both in its structure and furnishings.

This lovely, carefully restored nineteenth century farmhouse is nestled among silver-leafed olive groves, just one kilometer from the Castle of Agresto. The restorations were done in a manner that respects its original nature. The house stands alone in a panoramic setting; it has a private swimming pool that is equipped for night illumination.
It can host up to 11 guests in 5 bedrooms. The outside staircase, a typical feature of rural architecture in this area leads to the various floors and culminates at the loggia which is a ideal for al fresco meals.
