The remains of the ancient walls of the Castello di Lamole rise in the hills 600 m above sea level in the upper Greve Valley, surrounded by vineyards, olive-groves and woods of chestnut and oak trees. Still today, you can see traces of the thirteenth-century castle in its walls, a hidden arch and everything that careful restoration has brought back to life. All of the apartments can accommodate 2 persons and each has been remodeled in respect of its origin. Affaccio is situated on the first floor and its sitting-room/kitchen looks onto what was once the town road; Il Verone has an authentic wooden staircase that leads up to the bedroom; La Nicchia is situated in the old noble palazzo in the Castello with its ancient and scenographic stone fireplace; La Mezzina is enhanced by old knickknacks of plain Tuscan art and original solutions in transforming the old structure.
