Astride the two shires of Radda and Gaiole in Chianti the property of Vistarenni lies 580 meters above sea level, dominated by the Renaissance villa with it's enchanting view over the valley toward the village of Radda. Once owned by the Strozzi and Sonnino families, today, Vistarenni belongs to the family Tognana. The name of the Villa is considered to be of etruscan origin, the first traces of the establishment date back to 1049, when in a historical document it is referred to as "Fisterinne". The property includes 35 hectares of vineyards, as well as olive groves and woodland. At the center of the estate is the villa, lived in by theTognana family, and housing a magnificent cellar hewn into the rock and lined with brick vaults.

Casina occupies part of the ground floor of the country cottage near the villa. The studio-apartment's entrance is a glass door that leads onto a small private garden with an outdoor dining area.
