In the very heart of the Le Crete Senesi area, near the village of Asciano, lies this pretty group of farmhouses. Surrounded by lawns, in a pleasant hillside hamlet setting, there are enchanting views across the sweet rolling hills. Asciano is the nearest village (3 km away from the property) where guests can find shops, restaurants, banks, post office, supermarket etc. Siena is about 30 km away.


The charming independent barn has been divided into two nice apartments and Il Fienile is the one have chosen for our clients. Newly restored to an excellent standard, using old materials wherever possible, characteristic features such as wooden beams, old cotto floors and warm honey coloured bricks complement the country style furnishings. 150 sqm – sleeps 5 –Il Fienile is on two floors with private sitting area outside, furnished with table and chairs for al fresco dinners. On the ground floor there is a spacious living/dining room with fireplace, kitchen corner (fridge/freezer, cooker, oven) and French windows leading to the garden; a bathroom with shower and washing machine. On the first floor there are two bedroom, one double and one with three single beds (a bunk bed) and a bathroom with bath. There is a second entrance on the first floor leading to the garden by a flight of steps. Shared pretty new swimming pool (8 x 16 m – 1.00/1.40 m deep) at the guests disposal from May to September.

The prices are per apt. per week and they include water, gas, electricity, linen changed weekly and final cleaning. Use of the pool open from the 5th of May to the 30th of September.
