Palazzo Francesconi is a historical palace that dates back to the early XVI century. An ancient tradition attributes the sketch of this palace to the famous architect Baldassarre Peruzzi, who in 1520 began the construction , and he was obviously at the peak of his skills. The palace, declared “of particular historical interest” from the office of the cultural estates, is situated in the historical centre of Siena in the pedestrian zone, with panoramic views over the city.
The apartments within Francesconi Palace are furnished with antiques, beamed ceilings, parquet floors, and tiles hand worked in granite , with newly designed kitchens.

The apartment Giada is on the second floor and measures just under 900 square feet. Unlike the other apartments, which are on the top floor, it has low frescoed ceilings which give the rooms a cozy, country cottage feel. On one side of the spacious entry are two double bedrooms; on the other side are a living/dining room with love seat and a table for four, plus an eat-in kitchen with terracotta floors and two bathrooms with showers.
